The guides were developed with support from the New York State Departmentof Agriculture and Markets’ Organic Development and Assistance Program, and coordinated by the New York State Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program. Dozens of professionals at Cornell University and Cooperative Extension provided input on soil fertility recommendations, crop rotations to prevent pests and disease incidence, and specific strategies to address common crop problems. The latest edition of the New England Small Fruit Pest Management Guide is here! This guide is revised every two years. UMass Small Fruit Specialist Sonia Schloemann edits the guide, and specialists from throughout New England review it. The guide covers strawberry, blueberry, brambles, grapes, currants and gooseberries.
